Recovery Worker – Substance Misuse | £17–£21 per hour | Rolling Contract | Charity Sector
Belmont Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Recovery Workers to join a reputable private charity making a real difference in the community. This is a fantastic opportunity to support individuals on their recovery journey while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Contract: Rolling contract (minimum 3 months) with potential for long-term extension
Pay Rate: £17–£21 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Role Overview:
As a Recovery Worker, you will:
* Manage a caseload of individuals with complex drug misuse needs
* Deliver tailored interventions through structured recovery plans
* Facilitate both 1:1 and group sessions
* Collaborate with detox teams to ensure integrated care
* Provide harm reduction advice, BBV interventions, and treatment recovery support

Ideal Candidate:
* Prior experience in substance misuse or recovery work
* Strong knowledge of harm reduction strategies and BBV awareness
* Confident in delivering both individual and group support
* Able to work autonomously and within multi-disciplinary teams
