📍 **Location:** Coylton, South Ayrshire
💷 **Pay Rate:** £30 per hour
🕒 **Hours:** 50 hours Weekly
📆 **Duration:** 3 Months
Overview
Active (Pathways) Solutions are seeking skilled and motivated Electricians to start on a Substation project in Coylton.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
📋 Valid and up-to-date documentation – including CSCS/ECS card, Safety Passport, and SJIB. Scottish Power (SPEN) would be ideal however, this isn’t essential.
⚡ Substation experience – previous work on National Grid, Scottish Power or DNO is essential.
🧾 Verifiable references – able to provide evidence of experience and competency within the substation or high-voltage industry.
We’re Looking for Individuals Who:
⚙️ Show excellent attention to detail – ensuring precision, quality, and safety at all times.
🤝 Work effectively as part of a team – collaborating with multi-discipline site crews.
🧠 Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills – adapting confidently to changing site conditions.
Desirable Additional Qualifications
Having any of the following would be an advantage:
IPAF (MEWP)
Telehandler (CPCS or NPORS)
PASMA
First Aid
Manual Handling
Abrasive Wheels
Other relevant industry-related courses
