Help Shape Our Clients Growing, Supportive Fostering Service!
Are you an experienced and passionate Supervising Social Worker looking for a fresh challenge with a genuinely caring, family-owned independent fostering agency?
We are working with an established and Ofsted-registered agency that has a strong focus on providing a supportive environment for their foster carers, children, and staff. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to support and develop our foster carers, ensuring the highest standards of care and outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supervision and Support: Provide and record regular, reflective supervision to your allocated foster carers, ensuring they fully understand the fostering task, standards, and policies of the agency.
Monitoring Suitability: Support and monitor the continued suitability and competence of foster carers, ensuring they provide a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.
Achieving Outcomes: Work in partnership with other professionals to support foster families and achieve outstanding outcomes for all children in their care.
Development and Assessment: Promote the participation of children/young people in the agency’s development and undertake occasional Form F Assessments and initial home visits.
Out-of-Hours Support: Participate in an ‘out of hours’ support rota to ensure carers always have access to assistance.
