Job Description
Roaming Supervisor – Ventilation / Ducting
Location: Nationwide (primarily Midlands, South & London)
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000 + Company Van (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Roaming Supervisor with a strong background in ventilation and ductwork installation. The role involves nationwide travel, overseeing projects across the Midlands, South, and London, ensuring that works are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Supervise and support ductwork installation teams on multiple sites.
*
Work hands-on when required, with proven experience fitting ductwork, including large-scale sizes up to 1250mm diameter.
*
Read and interpret technical drawings, producing detailed material take-offs for supplier quotations.
*
Conduct accurate site measurements and prepare detailed reports, surveys, and progress updates for clients and management.
*
Attend client meetings, representing the company professionally and providing technical advice.
*
Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently, ensuring projects remain on time and within scope.
*
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements at all times.
Candidate Requirements:
*
Minimum 5 years’ experience working with ductwork systems, including large installations.
*
Strong technical understanding with the ability to read and interpret drawings.
*
Proven problem-solving skills and confidence in producing accurate site measures.
*
Good communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
*
Flexibility to work nationwide and willingness to stay away when required.
*
Clean UK driving licence essential.
*
IPAF & PASMA cards valid and in date (desirable but not essential).
