Job Description
Red Rock Partnership are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Featherstone who are looking for a Supervisor to join their busy team.
About The Role:
The Supervisor will work alongside their team and provide timely and efficient working practices throughout all departments within the factory and manage a small team of 5 to 8 staff.
This is a temporary to permanent position.
Working Friday to Sunday 6am to 6pm.
Pay Rates are £16.00 and increases to £17.30 after 12 weeks, opportunity to be paid this rate from day one if you have all the skills required.
Overtime is paid at 1.5x over 34.5 hours per week.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* You will be expected to be a hands-on Supervisor and will be working on the shop floor with the team.
* Manage a small team and have responsibility for opening and locking up the site over the weekend.
* As our client is extremely customer focused you will be expected to demonstrate an excellent level of quality in your work.
* Work in a busy industrial production environment you will be working on CNC and Beam Saw Machines which involves producing high quality finished products
* Obtain Delivery Notes & Loading Plans along with loading finished products using delivery notes to cross reference.
* This is a physical role that requires reliability and the ability to work as part of a team
About you:
* FLT Counterbalance Licence Accredited
* First Aid & Fire Marshall Trained
* Supervisory Experience
* Experience from a similar environment in manufacturing of wood products
* Experience running machines such as CNC & Beam Saws etc
* With good communication skills, you will be a team player with a flexible attitude to work.
* You must have excellent attention to detail, be enthusiastic with a thirst to learn, develop and progress.
* Machine Based Experience
* Be comfortable with Manual Handling tasks
