Job Description
Supplier Quality Engineer
Initial 12 Month Contract
2 days per week on site in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria (unless visiting suppliers)
£65.19 Per Hour (Umbrella Rate - Inside IR35)
The Role
* Ensure cross functional processes are deployed and adhered to
* Lead/support internal audits and supplier audits
* Lead the management of non-conformance resolution and corrective actions with key stakeholders and process owners
* Lead/support Quality investigations
* Lead effective analysis of data with resulting themes and corrective actions resulting in cross functional continuous improvements
* Lead/support the facilitation of working groups ensuring deliverables are achieved and Learning from Experience (LfE) is captured and applied
* Drive and support requirements relating to certification activities
The Candidate
Strong problem solving skills with industry standard tools,
* 8D/Ishikawa
* 5Why
* DMAIC (desirable)
Considerable experience in:
* Customer complaints
* Customer/supplier relationship management. Ideally the relationship owner of the supplier to the customer.
* Resolving none conformance reports (NCRs)
* Corrective Action requests (CARs) or otherwise referenced as CAPA/RCCA.
