Job Description
Contract Role: Quality Inspector - Aerospace Electrical Systems
Location: Onsite at Supplier Facility - Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham,
Contract Duration: Until at least end of June 2026 (potential for extension)
Rate: £30 - £34.90 per hour (Inside IR35)
Start Date: As soon as available
Shift Pattern: Standard day shift (no rotation)
Clearances Required: None
About the Company:
This opportunity is with a globally recognized aerospace leader specialising in the design, manufacture, and maintenance of commercial aircraft. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 standards
Perform detailed Product Verification checks for aerospace electrical systems
Liaise with internal quality teams and external supplier representatives
Review and validate documentation to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards
Support root cause investigations and provide input for corrective actions
Identify and raise quality concerns or risks proactivelyRequired Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of aerospace electronics and electrical distribution systems
Experience in inspection of aerospace components
Familiarity with FAI processes (AS9102) and documentation requirements
Some experience or understanding of auditing processes in a regulated environment
Strong communication and documentation skillsPreferred Qualifications:
Background in aircraft systems or aerospace manufacturing
Previous experience working in a supplier quality or inspection capacity
Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement practicesBefore You Apply
