We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business that is looking for a confident and proactive Supply Chain Administrator to join their small, hands-on team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that goes beyond traditional admin. You'll be involved in everything from scheduling and purchasing to audits and site maintenance support. It's ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, is inquisitive by nature, and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule daily work orders and communicate plans clearly to all departments
Purchase raw materials based on production needs
Procure non-stock site requirements such as PPE and service contracts
Complete administrative close-out of work orders
Conduct weekly audits across quality, health & safety, and environmental standards
Maintain and track repairs and maintenance records using the red label system
Issue monthly planned maintenance tasks and ensure accurate logging
Provide daily backup support to the site's shipping function
Support wider site operations through ad hoc projects and duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Previous Supply Chain / Purchasing Administration experience is required
Experience with planning, scheduling, or purchasing processes
Oracle JDE system experience is highly desirable
Basic health and safety knowledge is beneficial (training can be provided)
Skills and Attributes:
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident communicator, able to work well with multiple departments
Comfortable juggling priorities and handling pressure in a small team
Eager to learn and able to pick up new systems and processes quickly
Positive, resilient, and solution-focused approach
Additional Information:
You MUST be flexible to support in all areas of the business and be flexible with working hours
Holidays are taken during fixed company shutdown periods (e.g. summer and Christmas)
The company is happy to fund a Health & Safety qualification for the right candidate
