Job Description

Supply Chain Manager (Procurement-Focused | Engineering)

This is a hands-on Supply Chain Manager role with a strong focus on procurement, supporting engineering and project teams in a manufacturing environment.

You’ll be responsible for sourcing components, managing suppliers, and ensuring materials are in place to support delivery — while also having visibility across planning and warehouse operations.

💼 The Role

  * Source engineering components and manage supplier relationships

  * Support engineering teams with materials and solutions

  * Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities

  * Oversee purchasing, planning, and warehouse coordination

  * Use ERP systems (D365, Sage or similar) to manage materials flow

🎯 What You’ll Bring

  * Procurement or purchasing background

  * Experience in engineering or manufacturing

  * Strong communication and supplier management skills

  * ERP experience (D365, Sage or similar preferred)

  * Proactive, organised, and able to work at pace

CIPS Level 5+ or engineering exposure would be beneficial.

  * Up to 20% travel

  * 1 day per week working from home
