REMOTE WORKING OPPORTUNITY FOR A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER / PROCUREMENT MANAGER (IDEALLY CIPS OR DEGREE QUALIFIED), PURCHASING AND MANAGING SUPPLIERS IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING SECTOR
TITLE: Supply Chain Manager / Procurement – Waste & Recycling
SALARY: £50-60K DOE Car or £6.9K Car Allowance & Benefits
LOCATION: Mainly Home based with national travel (ideally you will be along / around / within, M1, M4, M5, M6, M62 or A1)
PREVIOUS ROLES: Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Waste Broker, Supplier Manager, Materials Trader

ROLE: Supply Chain Manager / Procurement – Waste & Recycling
Manage and grow a portfolio of waste collections service providers, monitor their performance and ensure their pricing is competitive, ensure said suppliers are compliant
Sourcing new suppliers and negotiate pricing
Oversee subcontractors’
Implementation and delivery on new services and contracts
Manage a team of circa 6
EXPERIENCE: Supply Chain Manager / Procurement – Waste & Recycling
You will ideally hold a qualification such as CIPS level 3 or higher or a degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
You will have a background in procuring waste collection services as a large part of your role
You will have a UK Driving Licence
