Job Description
RHA Recruitment Solutions is keen to speak to Supply Chain Planners / Managers, interested in working with an award winning food manufacturer in the South Cheshire region.
As (Senior) Supply Chain Planner, you will play an integral part as part of a growing operations team, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production across a purpose built facility.
Your Role:
As a key component of the production process, you will be responsible for overseeing planning, material flow, and cross-department coordination to meet production targets and customer demand.
Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality.
*
Lead production planning, aligning schedules with sales forecasts and customer orders.
*
Ensure material availability and inventory accuracy using ERP systems.
*
Optimise resource allocation, including labour, materials, and machinery.
*
Work closely with teams and departments across the site
*
Contribute to our Zero Waste Initiative and take part in weekly at-risk stock reviews.
*
Develop and upskill the team through training, updating SOPs, and maintaining a capability matrix.
*
Mitigate risks within the production lifecycle.
*
Oversee people-related duties, including payroll, agency staffing, holiday planning, and disciplinary actions.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven background in supply chain planning, production scheduling, or a similar role, gained within a food environment
*
Strong knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management.
*
Problem-Solver
*
Passionate about team development through coaching and continued training
*
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a drive for continuous improvement.
