About the role
We are excited to be advertising for Supply Teachers to join Heart of Supply. This is supply teaching with a bit more say in how your week looks. As a Supply Teacher with us, you choose when you work, which schools you go to and the settings that suit you best. We are looking for confident Supply Teachers who can step into a classroom and set the tone straight away. You know how to create calm, keep expectations clear and build trust with pupils quickly. Whether you are covering short term or longer placements, you will be delivering existing plans with confidence and bringing your own positive presence to the room. From EYFS through to Year 13, Supply Teachers who adapt quickly and enjoy meeting new classes will feel right at home working with Heart of Supply.

About the schools
At Heart of Supply, we work closely with a broad mix of supportive schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. This includes primary and secondary schools, academies, local authority settings and specialist SEND provisions. Each school is different, and that is exactly why we take the time to get to know them properly before placing anyone.
Whether your experience sits in early years, KS2, secondary up to Year 13, or supporting pupils with additional needs, we will connect you with schools that suit your strengths and feel like the right fit. Some schools need familiar faces regularly, others need flexible cover at short notice, and we are open about what each setting is like.
As a Heart of Supply educator, you will work across a range of classrooms, build experience in different environments and become part of a growing network of teachers who genuinely care about making a positive difference for pupils..
What you will need:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Recent experience teaching (minimum of 6 weeks in a UK school)
* Confidence delivering engaging lessons that are age-appropriate and accessible
* Strong classroom presence and adaptable behaviour management strategies
* Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly
* A flexible, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for helping children thrive
