Responsibilities of a Supply Teacher:
Deliver high-quality teaching across a range of subjects and key stages.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
Ensure pupils remain engaged and motivated in the absence of their regular teacher.
Follow the school’s curriculum and ensure continuity in learning.
Requirements for the Supply Teacher Role:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Previous teaching experience in a classroom setting (UK-based preferred).
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and routines.
Availability for short notice or pre-booked assignments is advantageous.
