Job Description

Teaching Assistant (SEN) - Full Time Roles | Scunthorpe & Surrounding Areas
Are you seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant role within SEN settings? Right Education is working with specialist schools and SEN provisions across Scunthorpe and surrounding areas, with starts available after May half term and for September 2026.
Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire & nearby areas
Pay: £92.60–£100 per day (based on 6.5 hours)
Contract: Full-time | Long-term placements
The Role:
  * Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, and complex learning needs
  * Work 1:1 or with small groups to support engagement, behaviour, and learning outcomes
  * Assist with structured routines, interventions, and personalised learning plans
  * Work closely with teaching staff and SENCOs to provide consistent, high-quality support
What we’re looking for:
  * Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable experience)
  * A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
  * Confidence managing behaviour and building positive relationships
  * Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
