Support Worker – Learning Disabilities & Autism
📍 Blackpool (FY1) | 💼 Temporary to Permanent | ⏰ Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
💰 £15.80/hr (Weekdays) | £16.00/hr (Nights/Weekends)
Key Health is proud to provide professional, reliable, and person-centred care across the UK. We’re currently recruiting Support Workers in Blackpool (FY1) for a temporary-to-permanent role, with a 12-week probation before transitioning into a permanent position.
The Role:
Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy to live as independently as possible and participate in their communities.
Main responsibilities include:

Providing person-centred care and daily living support
*
Encouraging independence and community involvement
*
Monitoring wellbeing and updating care records
*
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team
Requirements:
*
Minimum 1 year of UK-based experience in a care or support role, including experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities
*
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship)
*
Two references covering the last 4 years (one must be your most recent employer)
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (desirable)
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a car (desirable)
Hours & Pay:
*
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week on a flexible rota (including evenings, weekends, and public holidays)
*
Pay during probation:
*
£15.80/hour (Weekdays)
*
£16.00/hour (Nights/Weekends)
