Residential Support Worker - Wisbech
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per year (equivalent to £13.52 - £16.12 per hour)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Day and night shifts | Weekend availability | Overtime opportunities
About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available to join a dedicated and skilled team at two newly opened children's homes in Wisbech. This role offers the chance to be part of a service that provides exceptional care and support to young people who have experienced trauma.
Residential Support Workers play a vital role in creating safe, nurturing, and empowering environments where young people can thrive, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in residential childcare is preferred but not essential. What matters most is a genuine passion for supporting young people and the right personal qualities, including:
Patience, kindness, and empathy
The ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
A positive attitude and good sense of humour
Initiative, reliability, and a caring nature

Requirements
GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience in residential childcare (1 year preferred)
Full UK Driving Licence (required)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred - training can be provided)
