Agency Support Worker – National Autistic Society – Skipton & Pinecroft

Agency Support Worker role supporting the National Autistic Society. Ongoing agency work available with up to 600 support worker hours per week across Skipton and Pinecroft services. UK‑based candidates only – sponsorship is not available.

Trident Healthcare Solutions are working in partnership with the National Autistic Society and are urgently recruiting dedicated support workers to cover approximately 600 support worker hours per week across services in Skipton and Pinecroft.

This is an agency support worker role offering regular and ongoing shifts. Please note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship, and applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

The Role – Support Worker

As an agency support worker, you will:

  * Provide person‑centred support to individuals with autism

  * Promote independence and daily living skills

  * Follow support plans and positive behaviour support strategies

  * Work closely with the wider service team

  * Deliver safe, respectful, and consistent care as a professional support worker

This role is ideal for a support worker seeking long‑term agency work with a reputable organisation.

Training Information

  * Buccal medication training is required

  * The service is happy to provide buccal training

  * Support worker profiles will be reviewed prior to training being arranged

  * Ideal for a support worker looking to develop clinical skills

Requirements

  * Previous experience as a support worker (autism or learning disabilities preferred)

  * Able to work on an agency basis only

  * Must have existing UK right to work – no sponsorships are provided
