The Role We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide person-centred support in both one-to-one and group settings. You will empower individuals to develop independence, access their community, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
Essential Requirements To be considered, applicants must have:
A minimum of 12 months' UK Support Worker experience
Experience supporting people with:
Autism
Learning disabilities
Mental health conditions
Complex needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A positive and proactive approach to supporting individuals
Up-to-date mandatory training including:
Practical & Theory Moving and Handling
Medication Administration
All additional mandatory training required by Swanton CareCompliance Requirements Before commencing work, the following documentation must be provided:
Complete Corus Worker Profile
Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
Valid Right to Work documentationDBS Requirements
Enhanced DBS must be renewed every 12 months.
Workers registered with another supplier must have a current DBS Update Service check or obtain a new Enhanced DBS.Right to Work Workers requiring a visa must have a valid online Right to Work check completed before placement and maintained in line with visa requirements.
References Applicants must provide references covering the last 3 years (5 years preferred), including:
