Job Description

Corus is a national provider of specialist care and support services for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex care requirements, and rehabilitation needs. The Role We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide person-centred support in both one-to-one and group settings. You will empower individuals to develop independence, access their community, build confidence, and achieve their personal goals.
 Essential Requirements To be considered, applicants must have:

A minimum of 12 months' UK Support Worker experience
Experience supporting people with:
Autism
Learning disabilities
Mental health conditions
Complex needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A positive and proactive approach to supporting individuals
Up-to-date mandatory training including:
Practical & Theory Moving and Handling
Medication Administration
All additional mandatory training required by Swanton CareCompliance Requirements Before commencing work, the following documentation must be provided:

Complete Corus Worker Profile
Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate
Valid Right to Work documentationDBS Requirements
Enhanced DBS must be renewed every 12 months.
Workers registered with another supplier must have a current DBS Update Service check or obtain a new Enhanced DBS.Right to Work Workers requiring a visa must have a valid online Right to Work check completed before placement and maintained in line with visa requirements.
 References Applicants must provide references covering the last 3 years (5 years preferred), including:

References from professional or business email addresses
At least one recent Support Worker reference
