The Role
As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing practical and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs. Your work will involve:
* Supporting service users in their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and community activities
* Promoting independence and choice in a respectful and inclusive way
* Building strong, trusting relationships with the people you support
* Accurately recording and reporting support provided
* Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members
Essential:
* 6 month experience
* A caring, patient and compassionate nature
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, or sleep-ins
* A commitment to person-centred care
* DBS on update service
Desirable:
* A full UK driving licence
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
