About the Role:
Fox Morris Group is proud to be working in partnership with Salford City Council to recruit dedicated and passionate Support Workers. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for someone looking to make a genuine difference in the lives of Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children.
As a Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of helping young people aged 14+ transition into independence, supporting their personal growth and promoting their wellbeing and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Build trusted and meaningful relationships with young people aged 14+
*
Develop and implement Pathway Plans in accordance with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and Children Act 1989
*
Support young people with transitioning into their own accommodation
*
Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals in a multi-agency setting
*
Champion independence, safeguarding, and emotional wellbeing for vulnerable young people
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Previous experience working with young people aged 14+, especially those leaving care
✅ Strong understanding of relevant care legislation
✅ Ability to assess needs and produce high-quality written reports
✅ Confident advocate for young people, with strong interpersonal skills
✅ Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills
✅ Full UK driving licence or the ability to travel independently across the cityBefore You Apply
