Job Description
Support Workers required for a supported living service for young adults with learning disabilities based in the Shoeburyness ,Essex area. Please note that our client do not offer Sponsorship at this time. This is a permanent full time role working 40 hours per week. £25,417 p/a plus sleep ins at £40.00 per night - earnings up to £29,725 per annum. Will include day, weekend and sleep in working. Sleep in shifts are paid in addition to basic salary.
Shift patterns are;
Monday – Sunday
Early Shift: 07:00 to 15:00
Late Shift: 15:00 to 23:00
Sleep In: 23:00 – 07:00
Our client provides housing and support services based on the fundamental belief that adults with a learning disability, autism or other mental impairment have a right to lead their own life, to determine where, how and with whom they live, and who provides them with support. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for;
* Providing care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the service management
* Support and enable adults to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care
* Support adults in maintaining their tenancy
* Maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as required to maintain and progress knowledge
