Job Title: Support Worker
Location: East of England, Suffolk, Bury St Edmunds
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Primary Industry: Health, Medical and related
Salary: £12.21 - £17.50 Per hour
Job Duties:
Providing support to individuals with physical or learning disabilities in their daily activities
Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Supporting clients with medication administration as per care plans
Engaging clients in social and recreational activities
Documenting and reporting on client progress and any concerns to the supervising team
Required Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
Good understanding of safeguarding procedures
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working in a similar support worker role
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Understanding of person-centred care approaches
Preferred Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care
First Aid certification
Driver with access to a vechicle
Working Conditions:
Part-time hours, may include evenings and weekends
Work primarily in residential care settings
Physical demands may include lifting and assisting clients with mobilityBefore You Apply
