Job Duties:
Providing physical and emotional support to individuals in a healthcare setting
Assisting with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meals, and medication management
Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and overall well-being
Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and family members
Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients
Required Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
Basic Life Support certification
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience in a healthcare or support worker role is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Empathy and compassion for patients
Preferred Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health and Social Care
Experience working with individuals with specific medical conditions or disabilities
Driver with Access to a vechicle
Working Conditions:
Shift work including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Exposure to various healthcare settings such as hospitals, care homes, and community centres
Physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting patients
