Job Title: Support Workers – Learning Disabilities
Hourly Rate: £16-18/hour
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to join our pool of professionals, supporting vulnerable adults and elderly adults (40+) with learning disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.
What We’re Looking For:
* A minimum of 30 hours availability (Monday to Friday)
* Flexibility to support service users across different settings
* Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities
* A compassionate, patient, and professional approach
Activities You’ll Support With:
You’ll be involved in engaging service users in a wide range of activities, including:
* Health & wellbeing sessions
* Music therapy and communication sessions
* Cookery, baking, and gardening
* Independent living skills training
* IT and tablet/smart board sessions
* Walking groups, coffee mornings, arts & crafts
* Quizzes, bingo, seasonal events, and more
