Avalon Housing is seeking a dedicated Supported Housing Assistant Manager to join a service in Northampton. This is a full-time role assisting the Manager in the day-to-day running of a vital service supporting young people who have learning disabilities or are facing challenges with drugs and alcohol.
The duties of the Supported Housing Assistant Manager will include:
* Assisting in the effective management of the supported housing scheme.
* Overseeing the development and implementation of person-centred support plans.
* Line managing and providing supervision to Support Workers.
* Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards.
* Managing shift rotas and coordinating staff coverage
The salary for the Supported Housing Assistant Manager can be flexible, circa of £30,000 per annum.

* Experience in a supervisory or senior support role within a supported housing, residential, or social care setting.
* A strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people with learning disabilities and/or issues related to drugs and alcohol.
* Demonstrable commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding practices.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
