Temporary Supported Housing Worker - Mendip (Shepton Mallet & Frome) 🌟

Are you passionate about supporting people with complex needs and making a difference in your community? We're recruiting for a Temporary Supported Housing Worker to join a dedicated team in Mendip, primarily covering Shepton Mallet and Frome.
📍 Location: Mendip (Shepton Mallet & Frome)
💰 Pay Rate: £12.94 per hour
⏰ Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (rota between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, occasional weekend cover)
📅 Start Date: As soon as possible (within 1-2 weeks)
📄 Contract: 6-week temporary assignment, with potential for extension
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Manage and track referrals from the Local Authority
Provide high-quality, person-centred accommodation services
Support clients with accurate advice and promote independent living
Maintain clear, up-to-date records in line with service standards
Deliver effective housing management in a safe and supportive environment
✅ What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting individuals with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
Understanding of the root causes of homelessness and social exclusion
Commitment to delivering inclusive, person-centred support
🚗 Additional Requirements:
A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance)
Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including shorter weekend shifts (e.g., 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
