Job Description
Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a supported housing worker on behalf of our client based in Frome and Shepton Mallet. As part of the role, the successful candidate work across two locations, providing tailored, person-centred support to clients with medium-level needs. From helping people maintain their tenancies to connecting them with vital services.
Location: Frome and Shepton Mallet
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £25,235 per year
Main duties and responsibilities
Delivering direct support and housing management services to clients
Building strong partnerships with local agencies
Keeping client records accurate, clear, and up to date
Tracking referrals into the service
Creating a safe, supportive and empowering environment that promotes personal growth and sustainable move-on..
Person Specification
Experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviors
Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license and access to a car for business purposes
Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota
Participation in a rostered system of working with shifts between the hours of 08:00 AM and 20:00 PM
Primarily Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required on a rotational basis
