About the role:
We are seeking a Supported Living Scheme Manager to oversee our services in Dudley. This role is ideal for experienced Team Leaders or Deputy Managers looking to step into senior management. You will be responsible for:
Managing individual service users' needs and overall service operations, ensuring health and safety standards.
Supporting service users with learning difficulties and challenging behaviours in daily activities, promoting independence and responsibility.
Maintaining thorough knowledge of service users' conditions and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Supervising and mentoring support staff, ensuring high standards of personalized care.
Leading during emergencies, investigating incidents, and reporting to management.
Providing feedback to management, participating in meetings, and contributing to service improvement.
Managing staffing levels, rotas, and on-call duties.
Developing personalized care plans, risk assessments, and protocols for service users.
Liaising with multidisciplinary agencies and communicating effectively with management, staff, and service users' families.
Managing budgets effectively and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Familiarity with intranet and electronic medication systems.
Providing care on a 1-2-1 basis and covering shifts during leave or unexpected absence.
Working 37.5 hours per week with on-call responsibilities on a rota basis.About you:
You should be compassionate, empathetic, and engaging , with a commitment to supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives, promoting personal choice, independence, and overall wellbeing.
Applicants must have qualifications or experience supporting individuals with additional needs.
The ideal candidate should hold an NVQ Level 3 or above or be willing to work towards it.What we offer:
