Manual Grinder – Surface or Cylindrical
Sheffield | Full-Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Up to £33,000 per annum + Flexible Hours + Overtime Available

A well-established precision engineering firm in Sheffield is looking to recruit a skilled Manual Grinder to join its experienced team. The company specialises in high-quality components and bespoke tooling across a variety of sectors including automotive, aerospace, and general engineering.

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Manual Grinder with experience in surface or cylindrical grinding to support ongoing production and bespoke engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate manual grinding machines to tight tolerances
*
Perform surface or cylindrical grinding with a focus on precision and quality
*
Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
*
Maintain machines and assist with setups
*
Work independently and as part of a small, skilled team
*
Uphold health and safety and maintain a clean working environment
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in manual grinding (surface or cylindrical essential)

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Strong work ethic and reliability

Working Hours & Benefits
