Are you an experienced Surface Grinder / Machinist looking for a secure, long-term role with a company that values skill, precision, and teamwork?
Hours:
* Mon-Thurs: 14:30 to 22:30 (½ hour lunch)
* Fri: 12:20 to 20:00

What You'll Be Doing
* Operating surface grinding, milling, drilling, and lapping machines to precise specifications.
* Producing high-tolerance components for critical industrial applications.
* Working from engineering drawings and using a range of precision measuring tools.
* Collaborating with the team to meet on-time delivery (OTIF) targets.
* Maintaining a safe, tidy, and efficient workshop environment.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

What We're Looking For
* Good experience in a toolroom or precision engineering environment.
* Skilled in surface grinding operations and comfortable with other manual machining duties.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Understanding of Health & Safety practices in a workshop setting.
* A proactive team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Skills (not essential):
* Assembly or fitting experience.
* Apprenticeship or college-level qualification in mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
