Job Description
Qualified Social Worker - MASH Team - Surrey County Council (Woking)
Rate: Up to £42 p/h Umbrella
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage incoming referrals and undertake initial screening and information gathering.
* Identify safeguarding concerns and determine the appropriate level of intervention.
* Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
* Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies.
* Maintain high standards of recording and ensure compliance with statutory timescales and local policies.
* Contribute to service development through effective communication and reflective practice.
Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working available (office base: Woking).
Pay Rate:
* Up to £42 per hour (Umbrella).
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
* Social Work England Registration.
* Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience in MASH, Assessment, or Child Protection teams.
* Excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation and thresholds.
