Job Description
Job Title: System Engineer
Location: On-Site, Dublin
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Rotating Days and Nights, 1 in 3 Sundays
We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to join our client’s Engineering team and support the operational performance of the warehouse site. This is a critical, on-site role requiring strong systems knowledge, real-time troubleshooting capabilities, and coordination across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage order release and outbound process to ensure timely dispatch
* Monitor warehouse wave execution, replenishment, and pick routing
* Coordinate emergency orders and resolve warehouse queries
* Troubleshoot operational and system issues in real time
* Produce hourly and daily performance reports
* Support planned downtime and escalate issues as needed
* Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
Requirements:
* Ideally, 3+ years of process engineering experience (FMCG preferred) or 1+ years’ experience with appropriate degree
* Strong analytical skills and system proficiency
* Experience with Lean Six Sigma (preferred)
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Must be available for all shifts on-site (remote work is not possible)
