About the role…

As a System Support Engineer at Core Controls, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients’ control systems. You play a vital role in conducting regular maintenance activities, identifying potential issues, and implementing preventive measures to minimise downtime.

As a Systems Support Engineer you will…

Travel across the UK to conduct routine maintenance activities on our clients’ system controls equipment and components according to maintenance schedules and established procedures.
	
Provide technical support to our clients, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting system issues, and resolving problems efficiently to minimise stoppage.
	
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the installation process.
	
Negotiate with the supply chain to obtain the best pricing possible

About you…

You’re a practical, customer-focused engineer with strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills in control systems and automation. You thrive in fast-paced environments, responding quickly to issues and delivering reliable solutions that minimise downtime. Adaptable and hands-on, you’re confident working independently on-site while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and documentation.

You will be required to carry a phone 24/7 and must be available to a customer call out where necessary. Participate in the System Support London on-call rota where you will be required to stay in London for 1 week.
