About the Role
As a System Support Engineer, Programmer, you will provide technical support for Extron AV control systems, assisting customers remotely and occasionally on-site. You’ll troubleshoot software and hardware issues, guide system setup, and deliver advanced training to programmers. Your role will also involve providing feedback to product development and contributing to system improvements based on field experience.
About You
You have a solid background in AV control systems (Extron, AMX, Crestron, or QSC) and are proficient in Python programming. You understand networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SSH) and AV communication standards (RS232/RS422). You’re confident working with Windows OS, SQL databases, and Visual Studio Code. Your communication skills allow you to clearly explain technical concepts to a range of users, and you’re methodical in your troubleshooting approach.
