Job Description
A client of ours in the Clacton-on-Sea area are recruiting a Systems Data Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm or 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £25,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
Develop, maintain, and enhance routine business reports using SQL and Excel.
Support the design and implementation of BI dashboards and analytical tools.
Partner with internal teams to gather, document, and clarify reporting requirements.
Support data quality, validation, cleansing activities, and identify and resolve data issues.
Perform data import/export and automation tasks, including mass changes, using SQL and Python where applicable.
Serve as the initial point of contact for data and analytics-related queries, escalating issues when appropriate.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Systems Data Analyst position:
GCSE Maths & English Grade C (4/5) or above.
Demonstrable experience using Excel, SQL, and familiarity with at least one BI reporting tool.
Strong analytical skills
Prior experience with Sage, Salesforce, or Qlik preferred.
Familiarity with Python/API for data import/export tasks is desirable.
Ability to translate data insights for stakeholders
Previous experience within a Data Anaylst or IT Anaylst role
