Job Description
I'm looking for a Systems Engineer that is experienced with Model-Based Architecture to join a leading Defence business based in Coventry.
What You'll Be Doing
Design and maintain requirements, architectures, and system designs for complex technical systems
Generate SysML views to capture interactions between complex systems within submarines
Support the development and full utilisation of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) artifacts across a portfolio of products
Develop, expand, and take ownership of key system design elements and associated systems engineering products to drive customer success
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system functions, requirements, and design elements for optimal performance in constrained technical environments
Decompose complex designs into manageable components for further development and refinement
Support the execution of the full project life-cycle, from planning and implementation to operational readinessYour Skills and Experience
A degree (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline
Strong familiarity with SysML
Experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering tool-sets such as Sparx Enterprise Architect
Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and systems thinking
Familiarity with the engineering system life-cycle and related processes, particularly those outlined in ISO/IEC 15288The salary is £55,000 to £65,000 plus benefits and offers hybrid-working.
