Senior Systems Engineer
Outside IR35
6 months
BPSS to start, SC required
Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Systems Engineer on a contract basis. This opportunity is perfect for Senior Systems Engineers who want to utilise their expertise in a demanding and stimulating environment, tackling challenges throughout the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and verification of designs to applicable standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-178, RTCA/DO-254)
Analysis of customer requirements
Requirements Analysis, design, implementation, and verification
Specification, design, integration, validation/verification, and certification of safety-critical avionics
Participation in design reviews
Job Requirements:
Experience in systems verification and validation (V&V)
Proficiency in using DOORS
Demonstrable breadth and depth of experience across systems engineering disciplines
Understanding of requirements capture, work package definition, and effort estimation
Experience with Simulink is desirable
