Job Description
Join global satellite communications company as a Systems Engineer as part of a multinational R&D team leading the design of satellite communication terminals and translating product requirements into system and sub-system specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and own system requirements and specifications.
* Lead system integration plans and execute integration activities.
* Conduct system reviews (SDR, PDR, CDR), risk mitigation, and design trade-offs.
* Define system architecture, interfaces, functionality, and features.
* Simulate system performance and functionalities.
* Collaborate with HW, SW, RF, antennas, DSP, and mechanics teams.
Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Commercial experience of system engineering experience in multi-disciplinary products, including RF and antennas.
* Strong understanding of Tx/Rx RF channels and DSP.
* Hands-on experience with MATLAB or Python.
* Lab experience at system, module, or component level.
* Knowledge and/or experience with
* Communication systems and algorithms.
* Chip design or mixed-signal SoC architecture.
* Full product life cycle from requirements to delivery.
* Ethernet network systems and software stack.
