Role: Systems Integration Software Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Working Arrangement: Office-based with occasional travel
Salary: Up to £50k, opportunity to increase earnings through OOO

The Role
You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust integration solutions that modernise business processes. This includes working with API-driven architectures as well as supporting and enhancing legacy systems where needed.
You’ll collaborate closely with customers and internal teams, bringing your technical expertise to real-world challenges. There will also be opportunities to support on-site system commissioning in the UK, as well as occasionally overseas.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain integration solutions using C, C# .NET, SQL, APIs, and MVC frameworks
* Enhance and support Windows-based applications (WinForms, WPF, VB.NET)
* Collaborate directly with customers to scope, design, and deliver projects
* Build scalable data exchange solutions using SQL, XML, and JSON
* Debug, optimise, and performance-tune applications
* Produce clear technical documentation
* Stay current with best practices in integration and automation software
About You
* Proficiency in C and C# .NET
* Solid SQL skills (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
* Knowledge of XML and JSON data structures
* Experience in Windows desktop development (WinForms, WPF, VB.NET)
* Hands-on experience with Visual Studio
* Strong communicator with confident, client-facing skills
