Systems Training Manager – Hybrid-£40K
Location: Derby (Hybrid – 80% remote)
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time (37 hours per week)
Salary: £38,725 rising to £40,185 after 6-month probation
Are you passionate about developing high-quality systems training and leading a dynamic team? We're recruiting for a Systems Training Manager to join a national charity and shape the future of systems learning across a multi-site organisation.
This is a brand-new role and a rare opportunity to make a real impact—leading a team responsible for designing and delivering innovative, engaging systems training for both existing platforms and upcoming implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, lead, and support a small Systems Training Team to deliver high performance.
Design and deliver training for approximately 21 existing systems and all future rollouts.
Create accessible and engaging digital learning materials aligned with organisational systems and policies.
Collaborate with project teams, subject matter experts, and operational leaders.
Deliver training both online and in person, adapting content for diverse audiences.
About You:
You’re a creative and driven leader with a strong background in systems training and a commitment to improving the learning experience. You will bring:
Experience managing or leading a training team.
A track record of designing and delivering systems training.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Ideally, experience working in a multi-site organisation and alongside project teams.
Desirable (not essential):
Experience in the health or social care sector.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
Confidence using Microsoft Teams and Office 365 to deliver training.
Hybrid Working and Travel:
This role is primarily home-based (around 80%), with regular travel to the Derby head office and occasional visits to sites across England and Wales.
