Job Description
T&I Manager required for a major Offshore Wind Developer based in Germany.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement method statements, risk assessments, and technical documentation for sea fastening systems, lifting equipment, and marine operations.
Oversee the design and engineering of sea fastening frames and ancillary equipment to meet project-specific requirements.
Act as the primary liaison for marine warranty surveyors, installation vessel suppliers, and external stakeholders to align technical requirements and resolve issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, operations) to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with client specifications.
Ensure adherence to international standards (e.g., DNV-GL, IEC) and client-specific requirements for offshore installations.
Manage third-party inspections and certifications for critical equipment and procedures.
Support the Execution Manager in planning and executing offshore projects, focusing on risk mitigation, timeline optimization, and budget control.
Drive continuous improvement in technical workflows, digital tools, and data-driven decision-making.
Partner with R&D teams to innovate solutions for complex marine challenges (e.g., harsh environments, large-scale turbine installations).
Promote sustainability practices in offshore operations (e.g., material efficiency, emissions reduction).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, Marine Technology, or related field.
8+ years in technical/inspection roles for offshore wind or marine projects, preferably in a global OEM or EPC environment.
Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams and managing vendor/supplier relationships.
Expertise in sea fastening design, load calculations, and marine operations.
Familiarity with certification processes (DNV-GL, ABS) and risk management frameworksBefore You Apply
