Talent Acquisition Consultant - Education Recruitment
At Destination Education, we’re passionate about connecting exceptional education professionals with schools, colleges, and institutions across the UK. As a specialist education recruitment agency, we pride ourselves on delivering a personalised, ethical, and efficient service to both our clients and candidates. Due to continued growth and demand, we’re looking to expand our team with an ambitious and people-focused Talent Acquisition Consultant who will play a key role in sourcing and engaging high-quality education professionals within our Primary Education Team.
As a Talent Acquisition Consultant, you’ll be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and building relationships with candidates across the education sector – including Teaching Assistants, Teachers, SEN specialists, and Support Staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and screen candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases
Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidate suitability
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across key specialisms
Coordinate candidate registration, compliance, and onboarding
Work closely with Recruitment Consultants to match candidates to open vacancies
Promote vacancies and opportunities through social media and job advertisements
Maintain accurate records on our CRM systemWhat We’re Looking For:
Experience in recruitment, resourcing, or a candidate-focused role (ideally within education or a related sector)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
