Job Description
We are a highly successful Chartered Accountancy Practice, part of a larger Group recruiting for an experienced Tax Senior to join our friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CTA qualified with a strong background in personal and corporate tax compliance, as well as experience handling HMRC queries and supporting clients across a wide range of tax matters.
Duties will include:
* Preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns
* Preparation and review of P11D benefit returns and ATED filings
* Ensuring all tax compliance work is completed accurately and on time
* Dealing with HMRC correspondence and resolving client tax queries
* Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects where required
* Supporting junior staff with training and technical guidance
* Managing workflow to ensure client work is delivered to a high standard
* Liaising confidently with clients to provide clear, practical tax advice
* Assisting partners and managers with ad-hoc tax assignments
* Delegation to and Management of workflow by Outsourcers
Skills and Attributes:
* ACCA or CTA qualified
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in practice in a tax-focused role
* Solid knowledge of personal and corporate tax compliance
* Hands-on experience with P11Ds and ATED compliance
* Experience of dealing directly with HMRC
* IRIS tax software experience desirable
* Strong communication and client relationship skills
* A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively

Hours:
9:00 to 17:00 (1-hour lunch break)
Salary:
£38-45K (depending on experience)
