Therapeutic Support: Using the calm, structured environment of fishing to develop students' patience, focus, self-regulation, and confidence.
Assessment and Progress: Tracking and reporting on students' progress in both technical fishing skills and key life skills (e.g., communication, resilience) developed through the activity.
Safety and Logistics: Managing and maintaining all angling equipment, ensuring strict adherence to water safety and safeguarding protocols at all times, including necessary risk assessments for off-site trips.
Accreditation: Working towards offering students relevant accreditations or awards (e.g., Angling Trust qualifications, Duke of Edinburgh, etc.) where appropriate.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to the therapeutic use of outdoor education:

Safety Focused: Excellent understanding of water safety and environmental protection protocols.
Essential: A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (for transporting equipment/students to off-site locations).
Why Join Our Alternative Provision?
Unrivalled Impact: Use a unique, practical skill to transform the engagement and well-being of young people who struggle in traditional classrooms.
