Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a number of subject specialist teachers to work in the GL3 area of Gloucestershire, in a brand-new Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) school. You will teach students aged 11 to 16 who have SEMH needs, playing a key role in their academic development.
We are looking for specialists across the following subjects:
Maths
D&T
Mechanics
Art

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK with proof of qualification
A child-only DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
The right to work in the United Kingdom
Job Role:
Plan lessons in line with the school’s curriculum, ensuring content is clear and engaging
Deliver pre-planned lessons to small classes of 8–10 students
Mark student work and provide tailored feedback to bridge knowledge gaps and build confidence
Set clear, realistic learning targets aligned with each student’s development
Build a trusting, supportive relationship with students to create a safe environment for academic and emotional growth
The Ideal Candidate:
Has a genuine passion for education and is either starting or continuing a career in the sector
Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
Has experience in an educational setting (desirable but not essential)
Has personal or professional experience with SEN (desirable but not essential)
Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply
