The Role – SEN Teacher (PMLD&SLD)
We are working with a school for children with Severe Learning Difficulties aged 2-19 year. The school is currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated PMLD & SLD Teacher. The school has been ranked outstanding by OFSTED for the past 21 years
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Deliver sensory-based, engaging lessons tailored to students with complex learning needs.
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that prioritize each pupil’s strengths.
Apply your knowledge of sensory integration therapy to support holistic development.
Collaborate with therapists, TAs, and parents to build a truly inclusive learning environment.
Participate in marking, assessment, and parent/carer evenings.
Contribute to the development of a creative, caring, and innovative school culture.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent.
PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience or strong training background in SEN or PMLD settings.
Deep understanding of complex learning challenges and a commitment to inclusive education.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
