GSL Education are currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and adaptable Teacher to join schools in Portslade. This long-term role is ideal for someone committed to making a positive impact on pupils’ academic journeys across various subjects and key stages.
Role Overview:
As a Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students learning experiences through thoughtful lesson planning, strong classroom management, and a proactive approach to supporting pupil development.
Responsibilities as a Teacher:
Deliver engaging and structured lessons that meet curriculum objectives.
Adapt teaching methods to cater to a range of learning abilities and needs.
Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate effectively with other teaching staff, support staff, and school leadership.
Requirements to be a Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is mandatory.
Recent classroom teaching experience within the UK education system.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils from diverse backgrounds.
A full, up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
