Key Responsibilities of a Teacher of Business and Computer Science:
As a Teacher of Business and Computer Science, you will:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Business Studies, Computing, and ICT in line with the national curriculum
Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, using practical and creative approaches to develop student understanding
Inspire students to develop skills in digital literacy, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship
Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learners to achieve their potential
Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment
Requirements:
To be successful in this Teacher of Business and Computer Science role, you should have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and Computer Science
Experience teaching Business or Computing in a UK secondary school setting
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
