Job Description
We are looking for a Teacher of Design & Technology to work at an established independent school near Winchester, Hampshire.
DT Teacher required from September 2025 – Full-time, permanent
Independent boarding and day school with strong design and engineering programme
Specialism in Product Design, Engineering, or Systems and Control preferred
This top-performing independent school near Winchester is looking to appoint a highly capable Design & Technology Teacher to join their well-resourced department. With access to a purpose-built DT centre, the school delivers a range of specialist subjects including Product Design, CAD/CAM, Electronics, and Resistant Materials.
You will teach across KS3 to KS5 and have the opportunity to support students in design competitions and the Extended Project Qualification. The school places a high value on innovation, practical problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking, and many pupils progress to study Engineering and Architecture at top universities.

Experience and Qualifications
• Relevant DT or Engineering degree with PGCE/QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching A-Level DT (Edexcel or AQA) preferred
• Confident in using CAD software, 3D printers, and workshop tools
• Enthusiastic approach to STEAM and co-curricular activity
• Right to work in the UK
