About the Role
We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Watford to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and creative lessons that foster confidence, collaboration, and a love for the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Encourage creativity, performance skills, and critical thinking
* Prepare students for GCSE Drama assessments and performances
* Contribute to extracurricular activities, including school productions and clubs
* Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 level
* Strong classroom management skills
* A passion for the performing arts and student development
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
